In Tibetan School in India, We have Learned a Dharma Like a Parrot!
I experienced that in most Tibetan schools in India, from
elementary to high school. we have to learn bunch of mantras and recite
every morning and evening. we spent almost more than 3 hours a day. its
been many years past, now i realized that most of the tibetans are
very good in chanting a mantra, but doesn’t know the real meaning of
the mantras. according to my observation i think religious teacher
must change the old system of teaching dharma. sometimes i feel that we
have learned a dharma like a parrot. asked our generation we can
recite bunch of mantras right away but its really hard for us to
explain the real meaning of real dharma
So I urged to all the Tibetan schools religious teacher and education minister in Dharamsala, we must change the system of learning dharma. -Lhaksam

Tibetan Wolf Rock Band – Rocking at the Roof of the World
Before 1959 Tibet was very isolated and totally cut off with modern
world. Our ancestor spent most of their life with domestic animals and
with the nature. people and animals were drinking the same water from
the river.
Now
if we look at the present situation in Tibet. Unfortunately communist
China polluted the whole Tibet. recently one of my tibetan friend from
Lhasa she told me that when she was a child she used to drink the water
which flows from the river, now people can’t drink the same water
because it was totally polluted and dirty. Same like a tibetan music and
dance, Communist Chinese trying their best to mix up our pure culture
with them, you can watch many videos in youtube. Now a days some of
our dance and songs tune are totally mixed up with Chinese culture, But
other side our younger generation from Tibet trying to step up on the
new world of music. It doesn’t matter what kind of songs people created
in this world. we can play any music only thing is we need a platform
to learn music. This young tibetan Wolf band – Shag Chu express their
tibetan feelings through rock song. It was great inspiration for our
music lovers in exile.

Let me introduce about Tibet, Tibet is not only for Tibetans, This country spent thousands of years to practice science of mind, to reduce anger, hatred and negative mind. Our ancestor spent years and years to experiment of inner happiness, you might be thinking, we tibetans are backward, you are absolutely right, we are backward in materialistic life. not in practical human life.
In Tibet we didn’t have AK 47 guns, we didn’t have atom bomb to kill human kind, we didn’t have tanks and jet fighter to kill chinese people who are same like us. Because we think that, these are problem maker tools and we human don’t need this tools. As you know very well, We human are seeking happiness in this world not a war and destruction and miserable life.
In New York in each store you will find Cereals and different kind of sandwiches for break fast but you will never find Tibetan Tsampa in grocery stores, you will find only in Tibetan house. This Tsampa is made of barley and a national food of Tibet. we put little bit pure butter and dry cheese after that just mix up with tea or water it doesn’t matter thats your choice, So after that use your spoon and drink or eat it. I will guarantee you, you will never feel hungry again and it is good for the health also.
In Chinese prison when Tibetans are dying by hunger, sometimes they got little bit Tsampa from the outside, if they share it of handful of Tsampa thats not enough for bunch of people, so what they do, they burned these Tsampa powder and smell the smoke of Tsampa and it really helps them to survive more days without food.
So every day i’m eating Tsampa for breakfast not because i’m a Tibetan it is healthy also and it reminds me my beloved country and most important thing is i’m buying from Tibetan, in New York city some of our old tibetans have no job and now they are start making Tsampa to survive. So i’m helping them to make more business. After all they are my beloved Tibetan.
Tibetan Tsampa in New York
New York city is one of the most beautiful city in the whole world but when you ask a question to the tourist about Tibet in the Time Square, majority tourist doesn’t know about Tibet and Tibet situation.
